Seated in the shade is Ludwig Hein (far left) who is talking to the three hired men.
Workers and farmers came to Ludwig for his advice as well as his bone-setting which was well known for the patient always showed off their arms or legs that had been set properly and had healed with no problems that often occurred when bones were not set properly.
