He was the second son of Johan Henry Roemmich, the elder b. 7 April 1814 Germany and d. 11 Dec 1893 Germany and Anna Katherine Satter b. 19 April 1811 and d. 18 March 1888. His younger brother Jacob Philip Roemmich came to USA five years later. As far as we know, no other siblings came to the USA.. He is the father of all the Roemmich of the Ill. Branch. He m. 24 Feb 1867 at Hallowayvill, Ill, USA to Anna Elizabeth Lehn b. 15 Oct 1846 Edenkoben, Pf, Germany and d. 15 Jan 1912 in Sublette, Ill. (Letter from Donald W. Ashley. His older brother John Henry (Heinrich) Roemmich had reached the USA five years earlier. Jacob was b. 15 Nov 1841 Edenkoben, Pf, Germany and d. 7 Dec 1920 at Wellington, MO and is the father of the MO Roemmich Branch.
