Michael Roemmich.   NOTE:  I do not know why his older twin is not entered at this point in time.  I can give an educated guess.  This deals with births in June and his older twin was born one day earlier in the month of May.  However, I found it when going through the Worms birth records.  In 1903 he filed a homestead.  He moved to Streeter where he died in the house shown below of smoke inhalation becaUse of a faulty coal stove. Searching Ochsner Family Looking for a Oschner family who had a daughter Katharina who married a Suess then Michael Roemmich, Sr. Michael Roemmich [Remmich], Sr. [first name on record is actually Georg, see record shown below)  b. 1 June 1843 Worms, Odessa, S. Russia d. 1 April 1926 n. Streeter, ND USA, son of Wilhelm Jakob Michael Roemmich (b. abt 1820) and Anna Catharina Maria Ochsner Ib. abt 1820) m. widow Katherina, nee Oschsner,   Suess, So, we have a son marrying into  possibly his mother's family, the Ochsner.  So Michael and Katharina married their cousin, since all the Oschners are related, accepted on which is listed in AStumpp'smigration book: Ochsner, Ludwig Friedr., aus Wildeberg/ Calw, Wu, 1807.  I have no other information on where they settled in Russia. The one family of Ochsner that didn't settle in or near Worms/ Od. was a family they migr. to Gossliebental, near Odessa. in 1803 and his name was Balthasar Oschsner who left from Landau - Palatinate, same area as my  Ochsners from Edenkoben / (Landau), Palatinate (Pfaz) on the Wine Road.  That is all the information I have The rest of my Ochsner family can be found at:  http://www.remmick.org/EdenkobenPfalz/Page6.html.

Peter Suess , a widower, migr. from Graben, Karlsruhe, Baden [Germany] in 1823 with his children to Worms, Od. S. Russia where he died in 1856. Peter's elder son was: Christoph Suess b. 6 Jan 1805 m. (1)  Magdalena Bohl  He diedd 15 May 1835 Worms / Od. S. Russia.  Magdalena Bohl was b. 4 oct 1808 in Munster, Alsace-Lorraine [Germany, now France]. [ As a widow she m. Heubel]. Suess Family was known in Graben as early as 1566.   Listed are: 1588 Hans Suess Konrad Suess children. Claus Suess children. Mathis Suesss was mayor from 1588 to 1614. 1612 Jakob Suess was mayor in 1612. 1671 Jakob Suess was mayor from 1671 to 1691. 1693 Reinhardt Suess was Guardian of the Alms from 1693 to 1699, 1700 Reihardt Uess owned land in 1700. Capsar Suess owned land in 1700. 1736 Balzer Suess migr. in 1736. 1757 Marte Suess punished in 1757.  He was fined 30 Kruezer in a dispute with a Mr. Blatt. Friedrich Suess gave up his rights as citizen in Spoeck and became citizen of Graben. 1780 Jakob Suess was member of Court of Justice in 1780. 1807 Christoph Suess was Court Scribe from 1807 to 1812 and Constable from 1812 to 1822.  In 1821 he was overseer of the Inn "To the Black Bear". 1836 Martin Suess was major from 1836 to 1846.

I'm  told on ancestry.com through a variety of people that the  Suess Family has been carried back to Graben / n. Ausburg, Bavaria.  The link is to a Hank Jacob Suess b. 1625 Graben / Augsburg, Bayern, Germany d. 3 Aug 1706 Graben....  There is also a place called Graben-Neudorf / Karlsruhe Dist, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany.  On other ancestry.com Suess families they have Hank Jacob Suess b. 1 Jan 1625 in Graben-Neudorf / Karlsruhe, Baden-Wuerttemberg.  So, I'm not sure if Graben n. Ausburg  is corrrect, so those who are interested in this family, please double check the data.  Finding the correct village can prove to be very difficult.  I think Hank  Jacob Suess b. 1 Jan 1625 Graben-Neudorf, Karlsrue, Baden-Wuerttemberg  is probably correct.  Sometimes additions are made without having double checked......

Eva Mararetha Zimmerman  b. 1776 d. 1843 New information from the Worms 1858 cencus published by  GRHS & AHSR as cordinated by the GRHS Clearing House under # 85 & 96. Name is written is Peter Sis (Suess) , age 75, on the earlier  cesus and listed in the 1`858 census as having died in the year 1856. His wife. is not mentions.  We can assume she has passed or has remarried and not listed in this section.  His grandson, Johann Sis (Suess), age 28, is mentioned.  Johann's wife Margaretha, age 22, is mention, along with their new born son Johann, age 1.  The date of birth for the elder Peter Suess would have been 1781 if he died at the age of 75.   Those researching  him need to be aware of the differences / conflict or information. Also mentioned are two others Suess men.  One another grandsons who is the brother of Johann.  He is:  Christoph, age 25, and , and his wife Johanna  Kock (?), age 19. Philipp Suess is the son of Peter, age 46, [b. abt 1813), who is married to Katharina Bruunsmeyer, age 40, [b. asbt 1818] .  They have three daughters:  Madalena, who is married, Katharina, age 16,  [b. abt 1842] and Christina, age 6.  Gen. 4 Marin Suess b. 26 March 1743  d. 1805  m.
